Welder

“During my employment within Telestack I have gained vital experience within the crushing and screening industry, I really enjoy welding the conveyors. From my time within Telestack I hope to succeed and better myself within the company.”

 

 

James Bradley

Production Administrator

“My role within Telestack is production administrator and I work as part of the fabrication team, supporting them in various different ways. This exposure has given me a clear insight into different departments within the company, which will help me decide my next steps within my career.”

 

 

Sean Og Leonard 

Final Assembly Fitter

Foundation Degree in Mechatronic Engineering | Southwest College, Omagh

“During my apprenticeship within the Final assembly projects, I have worked on a range of machines, I enjoy working on the hydraulics and the freedom I’ve been given to work independently. I hope to gain more knowledge within electrical engineering and develop my skills to become an engineer within the company, as well as the opportunity to travel abroad with the company.”

“I have worked in Telestack for a year now and I have learned a lot about the engineering sector and how a modern engineering business works. I have worked across the shop floor from conveyors to crushers and have become knowledgeable in how they operate and how to build them. I hope to become more experienced in the material handling business and gain the essential experience needed to work my way into an electrical engineering role within the business.”

“During my time in Telestack I’ve been placed on the workshop floor building the GT205 and GT165. I’ve learned a variety of skills since I started and now, I know the ins and outs of both machines. I’ve experienced building every sub-assembly for the machines, I have progressed into the checking and running of the machine before they are shipped. In my role, I’m constantly liaising with other departments and working collaboratively to troubleshoot, anticipate potential issues, and improve the continual process.”

“I joined Telestack in March 2022 as a fitter. I had previous experience in electrics and testing within the engineering industry. Fitting was very new to me, but I found it very interesting. It gave me great insight into how machines were built and manufactured. I have been given the opportunity to progress my career to work within the Electrical Engineering team whilst studying for my degree at Southwest College. This has been an enjoyable experience so far and I have learned many new skills.”
