HF 24 Wheel Mounted Reclaim Feeder installed in West Africa
Telestack has recently delivered and installed a Hopper Feeder HF24 wheel mounted reclaim feeder to Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC) . GAC is a subsidiary of Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), the world's largest 'premium aluminium' producer and the its $1.4 billion construction project is one of the largest greenfield investments in Guinea in the last 40 years. Production and bauxite exports will ramp up over 2019 and 2020 to reach over 12 million tons per year.
GAC’s ore is transported by train to the company’s port located in Kamsar where wagons are unloaded with a double-tippling car dumper. The ore is then transferred via a series of conveyors to a stacker reclaimer. The HF24 will be used as an auxiliary/emergency reclaim feeder in the event of maintenance/breakdown of the stacker reclaimer.
